Food and Drink

We have a selection of quality caterers serving all types of hot and cold food, along with bars serving real ales, beer, lager, cider, wine, spirits, and soft drinks. Please refer to our food and drink listing on this page.

Toilets

Throughout the campsite and festival site there are permanent flush toilets along with temporary trailers and temporary single units, including disabled units. Gary and his team are on hand all day to keep things running smoothly.

Showers

These units are in the campsites only, and all have header tanks to ensure plenty of hot water for the morning rush, and again, Gary is on hand all day to look after them.

Water Points

These marked taps are throughout the whole of the site and come straight off the mains.

General Store

Situated in camp site A, near to the entrance, Charlie’s General Stores sells all the provisions that you’ll need plus newspapers. Charlie owns one of the stores in the village and can always send one of his helpers to pick up an item that’s not in his campsite shop.

Left Luggage Storage

Run by the MacMillan Charity, this useful facility is situated close to the woodland walk entrance of the Arena. Leave your chairs, etc here whilst you explore the rest of the site.

Hair Drying

Situated next to Charlie’s shop, and close to the showers is the Fabulous Hair Company’s Cabin, with hair dryers.

Hair Dressing

You are truly spoiled for choice when it comes to hairstyling services! Abi at the Fabulous Hair Company can cater for all styles, and also The Vintage Salon is situated at building 49 which is centrally positioned in the festival site. Sarah's Doo-Wop Do's is up near the Control Tower end of the site, and "Forever" hairstyling can be found just off the Woodland Walk.

Mobile Phone Charging

For the price of a cup of tea, MacMillan Charity (at Left Luggage Storage) will be happy to provide an electrical socket for you to charge your phone from.

Main Office

This is situated at the Control Tower, at the very top of the site, and is open every day from 11am to 3pm. Here you can buy tickets, camping pitches, arena table/box reservations, and trader pitches for the next year's festival, and we’ll try to answer all of your queries.

Lost Property

All lost property enquiries to the ‘Left Luggage’ station which in the woodland walk, near the Arena end.

Car Park Shuttle Bus

This is run by Herbert's Coaches between the car park and camp site A from 10.30am to around Midnight. All visitors arriving by car are encouraged to use this facility for their safety and convenience.

Wheelchair Access and Disabled Facilities

We have disabled mobile toilets close to the arenas, and two disabled car parks - one is for non-wheelchair users and is serviced by our shuttle bus, taking visitors to the Arena entrance. The other is for wheelchair users who cannot use the bus and is nearer to the Arena. We have ramps onto the Arena decking area and ramps into the bars. For disabled camping visitors, if you have a disabled badge, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. You must request disabled camping at the time of booking.

Liquid Waste Disposal

Toilet chemical and grey water waste points are all around the camp sites. Please DO NOT put oil of any kind into these tanks. We ask campers to take home all used cooking oil etc.

Refuse Disposal

Please use the refuse bins which are sited throughout the festival site, and these will be regularly emptied by our cleaners. Campers should use bin liners, and when full they should be sealed and left outside your caravan/tent for collection. HOWEVER Due to the astronomically huge increases in the cost of refuse disposal & recycling, we ask all campers to take home as much of their own refuse as possible, and this will help us to keep the camp site charges down to a sensible level.

Cash Points

The nearest cash point is at Tesco, in Clapham, about 1 mile away. Sainsbury's (Clapham Road, Bedford) also has cash points, about 3 miles from the site. However, we are looking into getting our own on-site cash points for 2015 - we'll keep you updated.

Clapham Village Amenities

Our local village has several general stores, off licences, pubs, restaurants, takeaways of all types, chemist, bakery, post office and many other shops. Also, as already mentioned Sainsbury’s superstore is just down the road, and has a petrol station.

Security

Twinwood Security Staff are here to help you have a safe and enjoyable time. Please feel free to approach any of our staff with your enquiries, and if he/she can’t help, they’ll radio to someone who can.

Taxis

The Taxi pick up and drop off point is at the car parks ticket collection tent. Taxi phone numbers can be found at the bars.

First Aid

A First Aid and paramedic team are on site during the festival.
