Juke Joint Jump

Juke Joint Jump are all about having a great time. Their set includes a wide selection of songs by artists such as Bullmoose Jackson, Louis Jordan, Big Joe Turner, Larry Williams and Fats Domino (to name just a few), and also contains many original songs all delivered in the Jump Jive style that simply make the Juke Joint...Jump!

The band is made up of Ian Gillon Junior, Olly Prime, Paul Richardson, Steve Croft, Alex Bland, Barry Few and Nick Lunt. Ian plays a mean blues guitar and switches from crooning the swing tunes to hollering out the vocals in true Blues shouter style. In the Tenor sax position is the master blaster Alex Bland and many will know of his work with many other popular bands such as The Metrotones and The Big Six. Barry Few has played trumpet in many fine Jump and Swing bands including Sugar Rays Flying Fortress and is known for his role as front man for The Alabama Slammers. Baritone Sax man, Nick Lunt, also appears with Mike Sanchez and various other top-notch performers.
