The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK

Twinwood's very first outdoor concert was famously played in 1944 by Major Glenn Miller. Back then, Twinwood was an RAF base, and many of the buildings are today preserved as museums on the festival site itself, including the legendary Control Tower. Veteran band-leader Ray McVay has put together an orchestra we feel the maestro would be proud of were he here to see it today. This is the UK’s official Glenn Miller Orchestra, and it comes to Twinwood for a two-hour spectacular! This will be a fast moving show and will feature the sounds of the Andrew Sisters from the Polka Dot Dolls and swing dancers The Swing Time Jivers. Enjoy the world famous Big Band sound of Glenn Miller once again in the sunshine of the Main Arena.
