Learn A 1960s Beehive

Re-create this popular and chic 60s hairstyle.

Step 1

Backcomb a section of hair at the top of your head. Roll it backward and pin it in place so it becomes a pad for the beehive shape.

Step 2

Backcomb the hair in front of it a little and smooth it over the pad.

Step 3

Pin the hair in place over the pad. Pin the sides up and smooth it all so you can see the beehive shape.

Step 4

Arrange the hair at the back of the beehive into a neat shape.

Step 5

Twist up the rest of your hair up and pin it securely in place.

Step 6

Create a soft, sweep with the remaining hair at the front and secure it in place at the side. Spray the whole style with hairspray for hold.
